Beautiful Clementine has passed away

Very sad news for the ferretry, our gorgeous Russian lady Clementine has sadly passed away during an operation to have a dead tooth removed. Clem had an abcess in her cheek in late summer last year and again it appeared around Christmas. Both times she was treated with antibiotics but it was clear the tooth was a problem and had become quite discoloured under the enamel.

We decided to have the tooth removed to prevent further infections and rid her of any pain she was likely to be in. The operaton went well and the tooth was easily removed, but sadly she was unable to wake up from the general anaesthetic and she passed away. We are absolutely devestated to lose our wonderful lady. She was the sweetest and most gentle female and really enjoyed cuddles in my lap.
